The Sweet Coquelicot Patterns
Sweet Coquelicot patterns! It’s simple: patterns are life! You see them everywhere, all the time—and if you haven’t seen my presentation yet, spoiler alert: “I’m passionate about patterns.” So, in this category, you’ll find floral patterns, of course, but that’s not all. In fact, I draw my inspiration mainly from colors and elements of nature. This can result, for example, in patterns like “Flame,” “Tiger,” “Strawberries,” “Jungle,” “Lemons,” or even “Fox.” If you’re wondering, “Why do I love creating patterns?” check out my blog post.
Sweet Coquelicot Illustrations
Sometimes, I feel like focusing on a specific idea and exploring it more deeply. That’s how most of my illustrations come to life. Whether I’m creating digital illustrations in Procreate or working with gouache, I take my time drawing a blue Jay, a bee, a butterfly, and so on. These illustrations often feature ornamental details that give them a poetic and abstract quality. They can be turned into printed posters to decorate your home, postcards, or even phone cases.
The Sweet Coquelicot Collections
But what exactly does the word “Collections” mean? Well, sometimes I like to work by theme, using a mood board and a specific color palette to inspire me and create not just a single illustration, but a set of illustrations that work together to bring a very specific world to life. So, are you curious to see what’s in the “Sunny Summer” and “Dia de los Muertos” collections, for example? A collection is also an opportunity to diversify the mediums. Fabrics, notebooks, accessories—there’s plenty to choose from.
